Bryan Treherne MBE
in Focus - Bryan Treherne, a key player in the development of Croydon Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the South London Export Club, received an MBE an was nominated for the award by senior colleagues at UK Trade and Investment - the government organisation that supports British business overseas - with whom he works three days a week. Bryan’s unstinting support for existing and would-be overseas traders in south London - particularly those in the Croydon area.
Organising the export club and advising individuals and firms about doing business abroad, Bryan has led successful trade missions to France, Holland, Hungary and South Africa, Bulgaria and the Caribbean, among many other places. His invaluable support has added tangible export turnover, from a variety of companies, to GDP in the UK. It is also noted in the crucial advice he gives to Croydon Council and other government contractors. For example – in 2007, contributing a bid for a multi-million pound grant from the British government’s Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI).
Bryan Treherne has devoted over 40 years to London business - whether it be working for a company, running his own business or, in his current capacity, as an International Trade Adviser with UK Trade and Investment (UKTI). Bryan has an incredible level of knowledge to help your business succeed overseas and realtes his passions locally and to all ages and levels – he prudly sits in the Croydon Education Business Partnership board and has received a national award for his work, as a trade adviser, in helping companies break into the export market.

Malcolm's role is to help drive forward Coast to Capital’s programme of activities and shaping the strategy for local growth working closely with partners in the private and public sectors. Coast to Capital is the Local enterprise Partnership for Croydon, Brighton and Hove, Gatwick Diamond, Lewes and West Sussex. It is a partnership between business and the public sector and part of a national network.
Malcolm is solely responsible for driving forward C2C's objectives to increase enterprise and entrepreneurship and promote increased international trade and inward investment.

As a Business Advisor, he also works with a wide portfolio of clients across all industry sectors in London. Andrew operates as a fully licensed Skills Broker and SFEDI accredited Business Advisor and increasingly support a growing and diverse portfolio of London based clients. He is well positioned to deliver various types of FUNDED advice.
Andrew has advised the Princes' Trust, delivered SHAPE Arts contracts to profoundly disabled clientele, and has worked the breadth of London with some key players such as Keep It Simple Training, GLE, Prospects, The consultancy Brief, Prevista, and is prominent in several Business Improvement Districts in South London.
Andrew is a natural entrepreneur, is hands on and works as a qualified Business Adviser with strong links with various contractors and Business Support contracts. He most effectively works with independent business owners but is competent through to CEOs of National Charities. Andrew also works as a Trainer & Broadcaster and has delivered some of the most demanding government contracts.
